the Guide First Aid PackThe Guide Pack (8.75 oz/245 g) is designed for small groups (2-3 people) on day or multi-day trips. The optional velcro mesh pocket turns the pack into a mini rescue kit for SAR hasty team members responding to a remote incidents.

- Outside 6.5 x 8.5 inch slash vinyl pocket holds trauma scissors and forceps for rapid access..
- Outside a 6.5 x 8.5 inch zippered bellows pocket holds a WMTC padded aluminum splint, our Wilderness Medicine Handbook, and/or wound dressings.
- Inside a 6 x 8 inch divided and zippered bellows pocket holds ORS packets, sterile gauze rolls, maxi-pads, space blanket blanket or bag, emergency dental supplies, and other small items.
- A 6.5 x 8 inch slash pocket located directly the zippered bellows pocket holds micro-thin film dressings, foam dressings, blister pads, ENGO, flexible medical tape, steri-strips, the Wilderness Medicine Handbook, etc.
- The elastic loop on the spine is specifically designed to hold a 60 cc irrigation/suction syringe or a 30 cc irrigation syringe.
- Four thin, vertical pockets on the spine hold pen, pencil, thermometer, otoscope, penlight, ampules, nasal airways, etc. The vertical pocket immediately behind them holds auto-injectors, a 28 ml Nalgene snap-top vial with cotton swabs, etc.
- A large 3-loop velcro strip holds two-inch elastic bandages, two-ounce Nalgene containers, two-inch self-adhering bandage material (package in a Large Squeeze Top Vial to prevent crushing), etc.
- A medium 4-loop velcro strip holds four one- or two-ounce Nalgene containers (for pill and ointments) or Small Squeeze Top Vials (for gloves, roller gauze, etc.).
- A small 6-loop velcro strip holds 1/4- and 1/2-ounce Nalgene containers, 10 ml vials, etc.
