Padded Aluminum Splint
Our padded aluminum splint is made from padded aircraft aluminum and is orange, 36 inches long, 4.25 inches wide. Combined with a cloth strip spiral-cut from a T-shirt or a self-adhering bandage, they make an excellent "cast" for fingers, toes, wrists, forearms, ankles, and knees. The splint is easily cut with a pair of trauma scissors. We recommend padding with a thick sock or other layers for increased comfort during difficult or long evacuations.
