Elastic Bandages

Elastic bandages are used to:
  1. Improvise a pressure bandage to control severe bleeding.
  2. For gentle compression to reduce swelling associated with stable joint injuries.
DO NOT use them to secure an extremity splint. Because of their elasticity, if they are too tight, they cut off circulation to the end of the limb. If they are too loose, they don't immobilize the injury. Our elastic bandages come with velcro on either end so there's no need for metal fastening or additional micro-trash.

Our two-inch elastic bandages are easily carried in the large 3-loop velcro strips in our Guide Pack or our Expedition Pack.
Elastic Bandage $1.75
