Nitrile Exam Gloves
Nitrile is both stronger and lighter than latex, hypoallergenic, and unaffected by heat or cold. Exam gloves aid in preventing dirt and germs from entering a wound during cleaning in a controlled setting. Four pairs of gloves (8 gloves) are included in each order.

Pack two pairs of gloves into a 2.75 x 1.25 inch Squeeze Top Vial (sold separately). The vials fit into the medium 4-loop velcro strips in our Guide  First Aid Pack or Expedition First Aid Pack. When placing two vials next to one another, invert one to conserve space.

Remember that your skin offers excellent protection against micro-organisms and that gloves take up space and add weight. If you choose not to carry and wear gloves, it's important to wash your hands, if possible, before and after patient contact.

Consider carrying a exam gloves if:
  • you want a physical barrier between you and your patient to help protect against the transmission of a communicable disease
  • your state or organization requires it
  • you have space in your first aid kit and are willing to carry the additional weight
  • there is a moderate to high risk of a group member requiring wound care and resupply is possible
