Tincture of BenzoinTincture of Benzoin helps tape adhere to the skin, while at the same time protecting the skin from the tape's adhesive; use it with transparent micro-thin film dressings, flexible medical tape, and Steri-strips. Apply on clean skin using a cotton swab; avoid getting it into an open wound as it contains alcohol. Store swabs in a 28 ml Snap Top Nalgene bottle in your first aid kit.
We package Tincture of Benzoin into half, one, or two ounce narrow mouth Nalgene bottles. The one- and two-ounce bottles fit into the medium 4-loop velcro strips; the half ounce bottles fit into the small 6-loop velcro strips. The velcro strips inside all of our first aid packs are specifically designed to fit Nalgene containers.
