You must complete the Part 1 online component of our two-part hybrid Wilderness First Aid course in order to attend the Part 2 practical session.

We highly recommend that anyone registering for a course consider purchasing trip insurance in the event that COVID-19 or other covered circumstances impact your participation in the course. There are no refunds once you register and pay for a course. ​

Logistics

The practical session for this hybrid course is held at the Outdoor Adventure Center at Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. Simulations will take place behind the Outdoor Adventure Center in a grass field near a small pond. The Outdoor Adventure Center is located on the west campus near the Disc Golf and Ropes Course (see map on right).
Lodging: Hotels & Air BnBs are available in Commerce.
Parking: Free at the Outdoor Program Center.
Food: Bring your own lunch & snacks. Multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and markets in Commerce.
