Logistics

This course is held at the Taft Nicholson Environmental Humanities Center in partnership with the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. Students need to provide their own housing and meals. There is camping nearby but no lodging or facilities to purchase food. The dirt road can become very muddy and potentially impassable to low-clearance 2WD vehicles in the late spring/early summer. This is a stunning location nestled in the Centennial Valley teeming with wildlife, spectacular views and history.
