The course it taught at the Northwest Outward Bound School's (NWOBS) Odin Falls basecamp in Redmond. Odin Falls is a 48-acre property along the Deschutes River with amazing views from the lodge (classroom) deck. The property offers excellent desert, rock, and river simulation sites. This is one of the most realistic and fun places to take a wilderness medicine course.

Lodging: There are various hotels and AirBnb options in Redmond, Sisters, & Bend; all within 30-40 minutes
Camping: There is camping available for $5 per night nearby at Smith Rock State Park roughly 30 minutes from the basecamp.
Meals: There are grocery stores and restaurants in nearby Redmond.
NWOBS Camping & Meal Plan: Camping with showers & meals is available onsite for $125.
