Discuss with physician & pharmacist prior to purchase & use; clearly label all containers.

  • epinephrine via auto-injector, vial, or ampule (Rx) doe systemic allergic reaction

Internal zipper pocket
  • For women: Vaginal suppositories or creams (OTC: miconazole, clotrimazole, tioconazole, butoconazole) for vaginal yeast infections along with extra tampons or carry 150 mg fluconazole (OTC) tablets in a 1/2-ounce blister pack; dose is one oral tablet.

1/4-ounce Nalgene bottle
  • 25 mg caplets of diphenhydramine (OTC) for local & systemic allergies; use with epinephrine)
  • ± 10 mg or 20 mg prednisone tablets (Rx); use with epinephrine if evacuation time is > 8 hou
  • ± opioid emergency pain tablets (Rx; use during evacuation)
  • ± For women: 100 mg phenazopyridine HCl tablets (OTC) to relieve the pain associated with a urinary tract infection. Note: Phenazopyridine HCl does NOT treat the infection but permits a relatively pain free self-evacuation.
  • 81 mg chewable "baby" aspirin (OTC) for treatment of suspected heart attack
  • 200 mg tablets of ibuprofen or naproxen (OTC pain meds)
  • petroleum-based topical antibiotic or white petroleum jelly (OTC wounds)
  • antibacterial soap
