$350 This course includes Adult/Child WCPR & AED. To help you plan, check out the course syllabus and read about what to expect, how to prepare, and FAQs. Course Contact: Tiana White [email protected] This course will be held at the Taft Nicholson Environmental Humanities Center in Lakeview, MT in the spectacular Centennial Valley. The Upper Lake Campground maintained by the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is ~4mi from the course site. Learn more about the campground here. Participants should be prepared to camp with all of the food they need for the course. (Any hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores are a ~1.5h drive from the course site.) The campground and course site are in grizzly bear country necessitating bear-safe food storage (provided at campground) and practices. Roads to the area are dirt and can be rough in spots. They are typically passable by any vehicle in June but can become very muddy and potentially impassable with significant rain. Anyone traveling to the site should be prepared with a full tank of gas, food and clothing appropriate for the conditions. Reach out with questions! We highly recommend that anyone registering for a course consider purchasing trip insurance in the event that illness or other covered circumstances impact your participation in the course. There are no refunds once you register and pay for a course. |
