You must complete the Part 1 online component of our two-part hybrid Wilderness First Aid course in order to attend the Part 2 practical session.

WFR & WEMT Recertification students may use this in place of Part 2 of the WFR & Recertification course.

Logistics

The 2-day practical session for this hybrid WFA course is held in the The classroom is located in Adam State University's East Campus Room 107 at the SE corner of First and Le Veta (see map). Parking is available on the east side of the building or along the street.
Nearest Airport: San Luis Valley Regional Airport (ALS; KALS
Lodging: There are several hotels near campus.
Camping: Dispersed camping on public lands is available about a 30 minutes west of campus on HWY 160 just past the town of Monte Vista.
Food: 
Bring lunch & snacks. The classroom is within walking distance to numerous grocery stores and restaurants are within a mile or two of campus.
