 Technical Rescue Workshops
  Through our partnership with the American Alpine Institute we are able to offer the following avalanche and rescue courses. Clicking on the course title will take you to the appropriate page on the American Alpine Institute's website for detailed information and registration. You may also contact the AAI Office directly via e-mail or phone at 1-800-424-2249.
 
  Level I Avalanche Courses are held over one weekend (all day Saturday & Sunday) and the field portion of the course is held in the Mount Baker backcountry. Please visit AAI's website for current course dates & costs.
 
  Level II Avalanche Courses are taught over two consecutive weekends (all day Saturday and Sunday). The field portion of the course is held in the Mount Baker backcountry. Please visit AAI's website for current course dates & costs.
 
  Intro to High-Angle Rescue course teaches the rescue skills required to manage the most frequent problems encountered by recreational climbers. Skills include: belay escape, raising & lowering an injured climber, and rappelling past a knot. The Intro courses are taught in one of the following areas: Bellingham, WA; Levenworth, WA; and Squamish, BC. Please contact AAI at 800-424-2249 or info@aai.cc for program dates. Cost varies according to the number of participants per person per day.
 
  Intro & Intermediate High-Angle Rescue for Leaders courses teach the advanced techniques required for safely reaching, packaging, and transporting victims over high angle terrain.
