Wilderness First Aid
If you are a weekend camper, lead day hikes within cell phone coverage, or are just looking for basic instruction, our Wilderness First Aid course may be your best choice. If you like it and find you want more, you can always come back later and take a longer more intensive course.
Wilderness Advanced First Aid
If you want a bit more than our WFA has to offer or expect to deal with potentially spine injured patients, consider our Wilderness Advanced First Aid course. Keep in mind that the majority of our WAFA graduates come back to take a full Wilderness First Responder. If you have the time, you might want to go that route.
Wilderness First Responder
If you want to be an outdoor professional, take multi-day or longer personal trips, take part in high risk activities (rock climbing, whitewater paddling, mountaineering, multi-week expeditions of all kinds, etc.) or simply want to know more about wilderness medicine, take our Wilderness First Responder course. It’s the industry standard for outdoor instructors and guides.
Wilderness EMT Module
If you are a current EMT or health care professional (physician, physician assistant, nurse, etc.) and want to learn about wilderness medicine, you’ll want to take our DLP Wilderness EMT Module.
If you are looking to recertify a current WFR or WEMT you can take a Recertification course. If you want to spend more time on the practical skills, consider our DLP Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness EMT. You can also recertify by taking a Wilderness First Aid course and passing the online exams.
